A new era began last season in Boulder, where much was made of Sanders rehauling of the team and his use of the transfer portal, which initially gave the school and him success, winning his first three games. Tougher competition and lack of depth at key positions saw the decline at the end of the season, as Colorado lost its last six games to finish with a 4-8 record.
