A big-time forward hit the NCAA transfer portal this week, as former TCU and Colorado big man Eddie Lampkin Jr. officially announced heās leaving Boulder after one season in which he led the Buffaloes to the programās first NCAA Tournament in three years.
The fifth-year senior averaged a career high 10.6 points and 7.0 rebounds per game for Tad Boyle this season. He helped CU back to the Big Dance, where it knocked off 7th-seed Florida before falling to No. 2-seed Marquette.
Now, the Katy, Texas, native is heading to his third collegiate stop, with no shortage of suitors. While teams jockey for his services, the NCAA Tournament continues and Colorado sports betting sites list Connecticut as the tournament favorite at +200 odds. Houston is second at +550.
