Samaje Perine Next Team Odds: Where Will Veteran RB Head?

As Colorado sportsbooks gear up for the NFL season, a familiar face is likely on his way out of Mile High City.

The Broncos as they finalize their roster are "expected to move on from respected 8-year veteran RB Samaje Perine," sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The team is "engaged in a number of trade conversations around Perine and it could be a trade, rather than a release."

While not a star back, Perine's durability is a significant plus for him to catch on elsewhere, as the 28-year-old has played in 16 games for four straight seasons across Cincinnati and Denver.

BetColorado, home to all Broncos vs Seahawks Odds for Week 1, broke down where Perine could be headed in the next 72 hours.

Back Where It All Started?

Where can Perine find a new home? While you won't find these odds with operators like bet365 Colorado, we list his old home, the Cincinnati Bengals (+500), as the favorites to either trade for Perine or sign him if the Broncos grant him his release.

Perine went to the Super Bowl with Zac Taylor, Joe Burrow and Co. back in 2022, and the Bengals are looking to regain that title contender form a year after Burrow suffered a devastating injury and star receiver Ja'Marr Chase missed most of training camp.

Also in contention to add Perine via trade or free agency are the Dallas Cowboys (+700), Tampa Bay Bucs and Baltimore Ravens (both +900) and the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans (both +1200).
