With an average ranking of 26, Colorado currently sits in a tie with the Edmonton Oilers for fourth place leaguewide when it comes to teamwide aggressiveness, ranking behind teams like the Carolina Hurricanes (29.5 average ranking), Dallas Stars (29 average ranking) and Detroit Red Wings (28.5 average ranking).
Leaguewide, Colorado’s aggressiveness metrics ranked ahead of teams like the Pittsburgh Penguins, who finished with an average ranking of 25.5, while the Golden Knights (24 average ranking), Tampa Bay Lightning and Winnipeg Jets (22.5 average ranking each) and the Washington Capitals (21.5 average ranking) rounded out the NHL top 10.
